1) Assess your calendar
Specifically, assess all Q4 months – October, November and December – and check all holidays in these months like Christmas. This will help you to see which days you should boost your sales efforts and give you time to make necessary preparations for these sales.
2) Manage your own vacation
Inasmuch as you want to relax during vacations just like everybody else, this is a perfect opportunity to make a lot of sales. Hence, manage your vacation – combine work and rest to make a lot of sales this Q4 while still enjoying what holidays and vacations have to offer.
3) Set a specific goal
Many entrepreneurs set goals like this: “I will increase sales this Q4!” You see the problem? It’s vague! Oftentimes, they end up not increasing sales or even losing sales in the process! Be specific. Tell exactly how much sales you want to increase. 110%? 150%? 200%? For the ambitious, 250-350%? It doesn’t matter. Set your specific goal and work hard to achieve that!
It makes sense that you assess where you are now. A 350% sales increase is probably unlikely if you’re just beginning!
4) Prepare your marketing avenues
It is best if you have content marketing as part of your overall marketing strategy. Creating content works best for two reasons: you create content, which you use to communicate your business, and you build content that will stand the test of time.
If you don’t employ content marketing up until now, now’s your chance! There are many holidays to create content about, so take advantage of that!
Prepare all your social media marketing for this Q4 as you will need a lot of them!
